Mobile Drill International (MDI) is bringing a new and improved version of the B57 mechanical drive drill rig to its product lineup.

The upgraded B57, a top seller for the company, features engineering improvements that bring more value to the drill rig. MDI says its power is 20-30 percent greater than other drills in its class.

The new model includes a 14-inch double disc clutch; a new heavy-duty, single speed right angel drive; a 6-speed manual transmission and a redesigned rotary box. It is available for purchase in high torque and high speed configurations, and it can deliver as much as 11,420 foot-pounds of torque and 960 rpms.

The B57 can be rented and leased to own as well.
