Bauma is the largest trade show in the world with regard to space, and every three years, it is the highlight for the construction, building machine and mining industries. The event will take place in Munich, Germany, for the 31st time from April 11 to 17, 2016. The upcoming show features a new service: For the first time ever, companies that are on the waiting list and have not yet been assigned space can have themselves listed in the event's directory.

Bauma is booked to capacity for 2016, making the directory a good option for companies waiting to get in. There are already waiting lists for several sectors. Naturally, Klaus Dittrich, CEO of Messe München, is pleased with the feedback from interested companies, although he also understands the related difficulties.

"Just like in 2013, we have been unable to satisfy all the requests for space or for increases in space," he said. Certainly, Messe München does what it can to allow as many companies as possible to adequately participate in the show. Unfortunately, it has reached its maximum capacity with regard to space.

Dittrich explains the idea behind the new participation alternative: "We want to give companies that we have been unable to accommodate in the past an opportunity to call the Bauma community's attention to themselves and their products and to make contacts during the show."

In keeping with the motto “good things come to those who wait,” the event is now represented in various social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. What innovations and solutions will be presented? What hot trends and topics are moving the global industry? What manufacturers and brands will be represented at the show? Stay informed about the 2016 event wherever you are.
