Rockmore International has been chosen to supply rock-drilling bits and rods for the following projects in Switzerland: The Soerenberg/Lucerne 5.3 kilometer tunnel at Lucerne; and the 500 meter Eggrain tunnel project near Zurich.
In addition to supplying all drilling tools and accessories, Rockmore is providing field service including weekly, on-site, technical support visits at both projects to evaluate drilling progress and address technical requirements.
Rockmore is providing drilling tools directly from its Austrian manufacturing plant, which supplies many of the tunneling projects under construction in mountainous regions of Europe.
