Reverse Osmosis Appliance
February 18, 2003
Composed of NSF- and FDA- compliant materials, Ionics Inc.'s exclusive post filter reverse osmosis system passes 1987 EPA microbiological purification standards. Producing 35 gallons a day, it shows greater than 96-percent rejection. The first two stages in the system reduce dirt, sediment, rust and chlorine in the water; at the second two stages, reverse osmosis occurs and reduces cysts, metals and salts, including lead, sodium, nitrates and more. The final stage features a ceramic/carbon post filter that helps eliminate unsavory tastes and odors. Ionic's RO system offers advanced automatic shut-off, and its design uses sealed cartridges, which change easily and protect against outside contamination. Ionics Inc.
