Danfoss-Flomatic received approval from The Foundation for Cross-Connection Control and Hydraulic Research at the University of Southern California for the 6-inch RPZ. The 6-inch double check has a flange-to-flange lay-length dimension of only 42 inches and the RPZ model has a lay-length of 46 inches. Shorter lay-length eases retrofit and reduces the installation costs. These units also utilize the same design as Flomatic¿s smaller units with a single-access cover and spring clips that hold the check valve assemblies in place.
