Reverse osmosis (RO) users treating water with high fouling potential can reduce their membrane fouling problems with new Duraslick low-fouling RO membranes from Osmonics Inc. Duraslick membrane elements employ Osmonics' proprietary three-layer membrane technology to achieve a smooth and consistent membrane surface -- a characteristic that helps prevent membrane fouling. Because the elements resist membrane fouling, they can provide RO users longer membrane life, less frequent cleaning and overall reduced energy usage.
