Americans can use their computers to find out how much President Bush's budget proposal would invest in their state's recreation, wildlife, and land and water conservation efforts. A Web site now features a state-by-state list of areas receiving federal Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) monies - check out how your state fares at www.doi.gov/news/states.

Half of the allotted $900 million LWCF funds will go directly to state officials to use as they determine best.
