Hydroflo Pumps USA Inc. unveils its first international assembly facility in David, Panama, and another domestic assembly facility in Grand Island, Neb. These plants will assemble and distribute Hydroflo’s entire line of vertical and submersible turbines, including the company’s newest Zero Lead Pump. The announcement marks the company’s sixth and seventh facilities.

"Hydroflo has earned a great reputation in the pump industry in a relatively short time," says Brian Daschner, president of Hydroflo Pumps. "These new facilities will have the same production capabilities as the rest of the Hydroflo sites, so our output will dramatically increase. Additionally, with our first international facility, our distribution lines will travel more efficiently to Central and South America."

The international facility in David, which will be fully functional later this year, will have an agreement with the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá. Students from the university will be able to gain experience assembling products first-hand, under the guidance of instructors and Hydroflo employees.

Hydroflo Pumps USA Inc. has been manufacturing turbines, pumps and specialty products since 1998. Headquartered in Fairview, Tenn., Hydroflo operates additional assembly facilities in Indiana, Arkansas, Texas, California, Nebraska and Panama.
