Preferred Pump and Equipment, a national distributor of water well supplies and accessories, recently held a Customer Appreciation Day in Minnesota.

Contractors throughout the state were treated to a multitude of diverse seminars that were approved by Minnesota Department of Health for continuing education units. Fifteen seminars, ranging from well management to application of VFDs in pumping systems, were provided compliments of Preferred Pump. Joe Thein, senior group sales manager for Preferred Pump in Minnesota says, “We want to show our appreciation to the Minnesota water well contractors. They support us year after year, and we feel this gesture lets them know how much we are thankful for their continued support.”

Contractors in attendance also were treated to lunch, dinner and a hospitality bar. “After a year of all of us servicing our industry and our customers, it is always nice to bring contractors and their families together and share a meal,” comments Preferred Pump president Randy Lyne. “Our vendors and employees look forward to this event every year. Vendor participation plays a vital role at our Customer Appreciation Day, with their contributions in conducting seminars, providing consultation in our exhibit area, and awarding cash prizes to the contractors.”

After dinner, the hosts raffled off thousands of dollars in gifts and cash prizes for contractors, wives and their children. During this event, 15 contractors won a $100 prize and immediately qualified for the grand prize of $29,000 to be raffled off Nov. 29 at the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas. Contact your local Preferred Pump location if you are interested in attending the hospitality event at the Mirage, which coincides with the National Ground Water Association convention. This year, the company expects 3,000 contractors and manufacturers in attendance.

Preferred Pump has 46 locations across the United States, and most locations will conduct a similar raffle during its Customer Appreciation Day. Contact your local Preferred Pump location if you would like to put your name in the hat to win the grand prize “Contractors also enjoy discounted prices during Customer Appreciation Day,” adds Lyne. “With the complimentary food, drinks, cash and gift prizes, as well as continuing education credits in most locations and great buying opportunities, these events always are well attended and appreciated by contractors and our employees.”
