Doosan has unveiled the new P125WJDU utility air compressor, which features a separate gear set on the airend that offers an auxiliary drive option. Operators can use the auxiliary drive for hydraulics or other applications with the flip of a switch.

“The auxiliary drive feature is a significant development for the utility air compressor, which provides additional versatility for field use,” said Rus Warner, manager of global air products at Doosan Portable Power.

“The P125WJDU utility air compressor is not only a compact unit for above-deck installation; it also provides a powerful package of air wherever it may be needed on the job. Packaged with a new Tier 4i engine and an assortment of options, the P125WJDU is a state of the art air compressor ideal for utility mount applications.”

The Tier 4i compliant John Deere 49 horsepower diesel engine delivers 125 cfm and has a rated operating pressure of 100 psig.

Doosan says the P125WJDU can be customized with a first-ever remote control panel, a full instrument panel that displays discharge air temperature, engine oil pressure and other crucial details. The P125WJDU also offers easy access for service to reduce time spent on routine maintenance. Locking end doors allow quick inspection of fluids, filters and the batter.

Operators can also upgrade to a 5-year-10,000-hour warrantee for the engine, airend and coupler. (Records of all services with Doosan Portable Power fluids and filters must be retained.) That option more than doubles the standard warrantee.
