U.S. Department of Commerce Secretary John Bryson recently presented Ambient Technologies Inc. with the Presidential E Award for Exports.  The E Award is the highest recognition any U.S. entity may receive for making a significant contribution to the expansion of U.S. exports over a period of at least four years, a written statement says. “This administration is committed to leveling the playing field for American businesses and workers to help U.S. companies build things here and sell them around the world,” says Bryson. “It is companies like Ambient Technologies that are helping to grow our economy, and put more Americans back to work.”

“Over the past six years, particularly with our work on the Panama Canal expansion, export sales grew, enabling us to sustain jobs and add several additional employees for a total of 50,” notes Carlos Lemos, president of Ambient Technologies.

Ambient Technologies’ subsidiaries and affiliates are a multidisciplinary group of companies that provides geophysical, drilling, surveying, utility locating, non-destructive testing, energy conservation and generation, and geo-construction support services.
