The 2014 International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) Technical Conference and Expo will take place Oct. 15-16 in Baltimore. The conference and expo provide attendees with a wealth of information on the ground source heat pump industry.

New to the conference this year is a poster presentation open to researchers, students, educators and others in the industry. Submitted posters should draw on topics related to ground source heat pumps and they will be displayed in the expo hall. Poster presenters will be granted free conference registration.

The expo will feature a wide variety of geothermal community representatives including manufacturers, drillers, equipment dealers and industry associations. Expo hall admission is free to the public. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 15 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 16.

Conference general sessions will feature a residential and commercial tract, a manufacturing tract, an innovations tract, a utility tract, a chapters and associations tract, and a GEO Public Policy workshop.

Accredited Driller, Accredited Installer, Building Load Analysis and Certified GeoExchange Designers pre-conference training sessions start Oct. 13. Conference registration fees are included with training registration.

Pre-conference training and general sessions will take place at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel and the expo hall will be at the Baltimore Convention Center.
