Menard, the Pittsburg-based geotechnical contractor, is moving its headquarters to Carnegie, Pa. The change is being made to accommodate the company’s continued growth.

“Our revenues have doubled since the recession ended in 2009, and our staff has grown to more than 100 fulltime employees,” says Seth Pearlman, president and CEO of Menard USA. “The new space allows us to work even more efficiently and to accommodate our planned, future growth.”

The new company headquarters was left empty for several years after devastating floods in Carnegie. The structure served as a music hall in the 1950s and Pearlman says the company decided it was worth preserving because it is an architectural gem located in a community on the upswing.

Menard offers geotechnical expertise and economical solutions using ground improvement that serve as alternatives to deep foundations. The company is experienced in the construction of oil and bulk storage tanks, commercial buildings and office parks, warehouses and industrial buildings, multi-family residences, federal buildings, roads and railways.
