Atlas Copco has been included in the annual United Nations Global Compact 100 stock index.

The companies on the stock index were selected based on their adherence to principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. Atlas Copco has been a member of the UN Global Compact since 2008.

“Our continued focus on sustainable productivity is paying dividends for society, our shareholders and of course our customers, and it is gratifying that the UN Global Compact index recognizes this,” says Mala Chakraborti, Atlas Copco’s vice president of corporate responsibility.

Also this year, the company was included in the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Index, ranked number seven globally in the Newsweek Green Rankings, and recognized by the annual Global 100 list, presented at the World Economic Forum in Davos, as one of the world’s most sustainable companies.
