Halco Rock Tools has expanded its 4-inch hammer range to include a TD40/QLX40 shank option on their popular GP400 hammer.

“By offering a TD40 shank option on the GP400 we have completed our shank portfolio to reach companies who wish to access the tried and tested Halco Rock Tools brand,” says Phil Dixon EMEARI sales manager.

The GP400 is a high performance hammer most often used for water well and geothermal applications. It features a robust non-ported piston design and a choke facility to adjust airflow through the hammer. A captive bit retaining ring makes for easier hammer assembly as well as lower maintenance costs.

The hammer is available with drill bits ranging from 110 to 140 millimeters in diameter. Additional drill bit configurations are available upon request.

Halco Rock Tools is a manufacturer of down-the-hole (DTH) drilling equipment that pioneered the development of DTH hammers in the1950s.  Their range of hammers and drills bits offers optimum drilling performance in construction, civil engineering, geothermal, waterwell, mining, quarrying, oil and gas, and exploration industries.
