Franklin Electric is offering a new water pressure boosting system, the Inline 400, which addresses space challenges through its compact design.

The Inline 400 can provide a water pressure boost of up to 40 psi with simplified flow-based controls. It can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, and it can fit into plumbing configurations where space is limited.

“Our customers told us they wanted to be able to run multiple water sources at the same time, without a drop in water pressure,” says Scott Stayton, director of portfolio management at Franklin Electric. “Our smart system self-monitors, so the water pressure remains constant.”

The system, which combines power with quiet, is useful in both commercial and residential applications. It can be used for city water pressure boosting, pressurizing water from a cistern tank, re-pressurizing after filtration and irrigation boosting. Two pressure switches monitor and lower the risk of over pressuring, while a flow switch ensures it only runs when needed.

The Inline 400 is available in 115V and 230V models. It has a product rating of 1/3 horsepower, a 1-inch NPT inlet and outlet, and it’s powered by a standard electrical cord. Protection features help prevent over voltage, under voltage, dry run and over temperature.

Franklin Electric offers an array of systems and components for moving water and automotive fuels. It serves residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial and municipal customers around the world. For more information, visit www.franklin-electric.com.
