HammerHead is saying goodbye to its president and CEO, Brian Metcalf, who is moving on to a role as CEO of Ring-O-Matic in Iowa.

“I want to thank the HammerHead employees and customers for their support and encouragement over the last eight years as we, together, changed the way people think about trenchless technology,” Metcalf says. “It's been a fulfilling experience, and I am excited for the future opportunities that lie ahead both for me and HammerHead.”

Metcalf has been a part of the HammerHead team since April 2007, when he joined as director of international sales. Less than a year later, in December of 2007, he was promoted to president and CEO. During his time with the company, he oversaw its transition from Champlain Capital Partners private equity group to Charles Machine Works.

“Brian was instrumental in growing HammerHead into what it is today,” says Rick Johnson, CEO of Charles Machine Works. He will serve as interim president of HammerHead until Metcalf is replaced. “His strategy of reaching additional markets with innovative product offerings has poised us for continued growth for years to come. We wish him well as he pursues this new opportunity.”
