Pentair will be featured on the award-winning home improvement cable TV show “Designing Spaces®” showcasing its new technology, which benefits homeowners. The segment, “Innovative Pumping Solutions for Today’s Homeowners,” is scheduledto air July 31 and Aug. 7 at 7 a.m. (EST/PST) on the Lifetime television network.

During the segment, Pentair Product Manager Taylor Crenshaw highlights Pentair’s  Link2O, the company’s innovative wireless communication technology that monitors connected water system devices and serves as a convenient, single source for constant information.

“Damage from a malfunctioning water systemcan be extensive and expensive,” Crenshaw says. “Our segment on ‘Designing Spaces’ helps to inform homeowners that whetherthey are at home, on vacation, at work, or anywhere else in the world, we have the products that allow them to communicate with and control their water system, and be confident that it is functioning correctly.”

For example, Crenshaw discusses how the company’s variable frequency drive, known asPentek Intellidrive, works with Link2O to provide homeowners with control over their home’s water pressure, helping reduce wear and tear caused by hard starts and stops. Crenshaw also talks about Pentair’s Myers Battery Backup Unit for sump pumps, which uses Link2O technology to send a text or e-mail to the homeowner when home power is lost or the home’s primary sump pump fails.
