Roger Eisler has retired from Central Mine Equipment Company (CME).

His early years were spent on the road demonstrating how new machines worked. Once a product was sold, he returned to the factory to pick up another. For nearly 37 years, Eisler represented CME in the northeast region of the U.S., traveling countless miles and logging numerous hotel stays.

Prior to joining CME, Roger was owner and operator of R.J. Eisler Drilling. His primary focus was coal exploration in the Pennsylvania area. In late 1979, Roger attended a trade show in Dearborn, Mich., where he met Charles Rassieur, owner and president of CME. Soon after, he joined the CME family.  He made his first sale, a truck-mounted CME-75 drill, in 1980. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

The company appreciates his service and wishes him well in his retirement, CME says.
