IGSHPA Announces 2018 Technical Conference and Expo
Event Includes Geothermal Industry Exhibitors, Education
Join IGSHPA and the ground source heat pump industry as we become “better together” at the 2018 IGSHPA Conference and Expo, March 27-28 in Orlando, Fla., at the Caribe Royale Hotel and Convention Center.
IGSHPA committee and business meetings start the week off Monday, March 26. The conference kicks off 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, with an opening session followed by exhibit hall only hours. Sessions will start Tuesday afternoon and run through Wednesday evening.
Conference sessions include a mix of industry case studies, technical how-tos and tools to enhance geothermal businesses, including topics of strategies and controls for radiant floor cooling, specialized financing for commercial ground source heat pumps, ground source heat pump system forensics, and integrating geothermal and solar systems. The conference will cap off with an awards dinner highlighting innovating industry applications, special member achievements and exemplary innovative supporters.
Training opportunities March 27-29 currently include the following workshops: Accredited Installer, Certified Geothermal Inspector, and Certified Residential Designer. Conference registration fees are included with any training registration.
The expo will feature a wide variety of geothermal community representatives including drillers, distributors, manufacturers and contractors to answer geothermal questions. Expo hall admission is free to the public. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and 5:30-7 p.m. March 27, and 8 a.m.-noon March 28.
No other event during the year offers such a diverse learning and networking opportunity. Throughout the conference, there are continual opportunities for geothermal businesses to make valuable connections with other professionals.
