Wild Well Control, a Superior Energy Services company and a leader in well control and engineering services, named Bryan Ellis as president.

Ellis, who has been with Wild Well since 2008, succeeds Freddy Gebhardt as president effective immediately. Most recently, Ellis served as a chief administrative officer overseeing all financial and administrative operations.

Ellis has more than 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry providing financial and operational leadership. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s of business administration and a master’s in accounting.

Freddy Gebhardt, who has stepped down as president, will remain active with Wild Well in the role of senior advisor, supporting business opportunities globally. Gebhardt’s career spans 40 years in the well control industry. His dedication and leadership have been critical in continuing to keep Wild Well a market leader in the well control industry.
