Danos, a family-owned and managed oilfield service provider, has selected Greg Guidry as the seventh member of the company’s board of directors, the company announced on May 14.

“Greg has an invaluable understanding of the oil and gas industry, and we are grateful that he has accepted our invitation to join the board,” says Chairman of the Board Hank Danos.

Guidry joins Danos following his retirement from Royal Dutch Shell in October 2018, where he served as executive vice president – unconventionals for the final six years of his nearly 37-year tenure with the company.

“Joining the Danos board of directors provides a tremendous opportunity for me to get involved with a respected industry organization. Danos has an exciting future, and I look forward to working with them,” he says.
