Franklin Electric Co. Inc. announced the strategic acquisition of CPS Pumps, a manufacturer of large submersible and industrial pumps. Franklin Electric acquired all product lines and assets, along with a manufacturing facility in Rossville, Tennessee.

In a release, Franklin says CPS Pumps brings with it a diverse set of products and expertise, including a full portfolio of line shaft turbines, split case, end suction, fire protection and ANSI-style pumps, allowing the company to better serve global customers in the agriculture irrigation, municipal, industrial and mining markets. This includes an expanded selection of unparalleled water system solutions with flows up to 40,000 gpm and 2,500 feet that help cover almost any pumping application.

The newly acquired product lines will be marketed and sold under Franklin Electric’s FPS brand. They are now available through all of the company’s existing industrial and groundwater distribution channels.
