The Deep Foundations Institute’s Women in Deep Foundations Committee has launched a new educational video titled, “What is the geotechnical field?”

The four-minute video features DFI members showcasing the roles and career opportunities offered in the geotechnical field. It also promotes a link to a website full of resources where people curious about the field can find more information.

In a release, the DFI says it encourages companies and professionals in the geotechnical industry to share the video when visiting colleges for teaching or recruiting, and when attending career day events at local high schools.

The video was produced with sponsorship from 25 DFI member companies.

The video is available on DFI’s YouTube Channel or at www.dfi.org/geo.
