On today’s Ask Brock, host Brock Yordy reflects on a big loss to the National Driller family. Longtime Sales Manager Dean Laramore passed away, Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, after complications from a stroke. He was 60.

Yordy calls him an “industry legend” who served the drilling industry for more than 20 years.

“How do we ensure that our legacy lives on?” Yordy asks. “With Dean, I know it’s going to live on in handshakes and smiles and the way our industry does marketing and advertising.”

Yordy attended Laramore’s service this week on behalf of National Driller. In episode 70 of Ask Brock, he tries to put words to the way everyone here at NDHQ feels.

National Driller invites readers and advertisers to share their remembrances. Record a snippet of video, share photos or just tell us your Dean story in an email. We’ll compile everything into a fuller remembrance for family and the industry he served. Send a video link, photos or your Dean story to verduscoj@bnpmedia.com. Please put “my Dean story” in the subject line.

We’ll return to questions in next week’s episode. Have a question for Brock? Send an email to brock@globaldrilltraining.com.
