Generator and compressor manufacturer Vanair has named Michelle Mieras as director of fleet sales and business development. In a release, the company says Mieras will focus on building and developing relationships with strategic accounts nationwide.

Mieras joins Vanair with 25 years of automotive and fleet experience, including positions as sales representative, fleet manager and comptroller. Most recently, Mieras held a leadership position at NiSource, a utility company in Merrillville, Indiana, that serves natural gas and electric customers in seven states.

Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, in Bloomington, Indiana, and a bachelor’s of business administration degree from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
