ADSC, the International Association of Foundation Drilling, is putting on educational programs on both coasts in November.

An anchored earth retention seminar takes place Nov. 8-9, at the Sheraton Park Resort in Anaheim, Calif. Topics to be covered include anchored micropile walls for slope stabilization, deep tieback anchor installations, equipment and tooling, various case histories, history of earth retention and hollow-bar installations. Also on hand will be exhibits featuring the very latest in anchored earth retention technologies and equipment.

The association also is presenting a program titled, “Quality Assurance-Quality Control Emphasizing: Remediation Techniques,” at the Wyndham Garden Hotel at LaGuardia Airport in New York on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Presented by 10 of the nation’s top design, construction and testing practitioners, this one-day seminar offers an entire spectrum of drilled shaft design, specifications, quality control testing, and recommended construction procedures.
